Education

The educational program at SUNY Downstate's Department of Anesthesia offers a complete spectrum of educational activities for individuals at different levels of training.

• In addition to the anesthesiology rotation courses available to SUNY Downstate medical students, interested students from other medical and osteopathic schools may arrange for elective rotations.

• Residents of the Department have a number of educational resources and activities throughout the 3 year program.

• Advanced Clinical and Research training opportunities are available for residency graduates.

• Student Nurse Anesthetists have access to many of the educational resources and activities of the department.
